Within a 3 min walk from the Natural History museum and a 5 min walk from Hyde Park, I discovered The Exhibitionist hotel – a great and unusual place to stay in the center of London. Being an art lover looking for innovation I should say that this hotel is one of my favourite ones! The hotel is located near South Kensington underground station and there are loads of restaurants and shops nearby. If you are looking for a hotel in the center of London with good connections – The Exhibitionist is a perfect place to stay.
The design of the hotel is vibrant, elegant and changes from time to time. I stayed there once in June and once in July and both of the times the art objects exhibited there were different. In the lobby you can find various works of contemporary artists exhibited for its visitors.
The rooms are very arty as well and some of the balconies have artificial grass which makes it nice to sit outside when the weather is good. Every room is equipped with an iPad that has a selection of music to fit your mood, allows to order any extras to the room, check the map or weather forecast.
My favourite part of the hotel was the elevator – it had a metallic board with letters. The guests (and maybe hotel staff) leaves messages to each other which is a lot of fun.
