blue waters of Portofino, Tom Ford and bronzer

Summer is the perfect time to try bright eyeshadows, pale girls can finally use bronzer and don`t look ridiculous and there is a good reason to stay in the beach all days. This summer I have highlighted a few favourite products:

Soleil Bronzer After Sun – Lancome

Although I was sceptical about the after sun bronzers, this one works really well – it hydrates the skin (without a cooling effect) and has a light but very pleasant scent. It actually activates your tan and if you apply it after the beach you can notice that your skin does get darker.

Eyes To Kill Eyeshadow number 19 – Armani

As reviewed in my recent post, Armani eyeshadows are very pigmented and have a lot of shimmer. This blue shade blends easily and stays on the eyelids all day. However, they are not waterproof and they wash off quiet easy with warm water.

Terracotta Poudre Bronzante – Guerlain

I do not use bronzers frequently as I prefer grey-brownish blush (from MAC) for contouring, but this bronzer is great to use when you have a bit of tan. It has  a very strong pigment, so it`s better to apply it with a big fluffy brush and blend it well. I love it not because it`s a useful summer makeup product, but because of the sea-blue package!
